Primary role as to explore and develop the new category of advanced product concepts that support Samsung’s ID strategic values and goals. In addition to developing and articulating the concept, ensuring the end product results meet market demand, technical specifications and requirements. To accomplish, it includes communicating with designers at HQ, also collaborating the UX team to focus on user-centric features, identifying product design opportunities based on user research and finally managing prototyping vendors by serving as lead liaison to ensure quality in construction to final finish.

Worked closely under Oki Sato, the head of design. Responsible for concept developments, model making prototypes and spatial design. Helped to enhance design applications. Supported / Taught the team to adopt new rendering programs and 3D applications. Managed international interns. Participated in “chair garden” exhibition in Milan to exhibit and present Nendo pieces at the gallery.

Wearable device for family
Proposed a compact, portable parental surveillance device concept for kids and the elderly using existing technolgies within company. Culminated the presentation of product to full storyline. Presented twice in Tokyo and HQ in Osaka.
